Survey for Parents of a Child with ADHD Disorder

Does your child have ADHD or regularly display behaviours typical of ADHD? If so, then you are invited to participate in a 30 minute online survey regarding parents' understanding of ADHD-type behaviours, being conducted by The University of Western Sydney. Whether you believe ADHD is a medical condition or not, as a parent or guardian, you are considered the expert for your child and so your views will be highly regarded. Your assistance in this important research is much appreciated. By completing this survey, you can help us to understand the experiences of parents with children displaying ADHD-type behaviours. To complete the survey go to:Survey at University of Western Australia

Improve Impulse Control, Memory and Attention

The ability to control impulses, focus attention and keep information in memory are essential for successful learning. Our research has indicated that we can enhance these abilities, and also behaviour, by playing specially-designed computer games for 15-20 minutes/day for 4 weeks. We require children aged between 7 and 14 years to participate in a new and
improved training program. Children with ADHD (professionally diagnosed) are required, as are non-ADHD children. Before- and after-training sessions can be completed at the University, or your own home.

This study will end either February or March 2010.

Your own Windows computer is required for the at-home training - we supply and install the training software. The study is being conducted by the School of Psychology at the University of Wollongong.
